SunShower is a brand that combines comfort food and illustration to raise awareness about mental health. Many kids might have eaten peanut butter as a snack or lunch. It has a strong association with childhood, so it feels nostalgic and bring back many memories. Eating foods like these can be tools of connecting people and raising awareness about mental illnesses.
For the packaging, I designed and illustrated the assets. The SunShower project exemplifies warmth and awareness. I show this through the hand-illustrated type that informs consumers about mental health and coping mechanism.
For a narrative environment to place my product into context, I conceptualized, designed, and illustrated a Peanut Butter Factory where attendees had the opportunity to make their own personalized peanut butter spread.
